Eryri Ultra Trail Weekend


Guided route covering approx 50km over two days with Anna, who placed first female in her age category in the 2023 of Ultra Trail Snowdonia. The event is aimed at those planning to take on some of the wonderful ultra races in Snowdonia and want to learn about more about the terrain, tips on racing in these mountains or just want to enjoy a tough and challenging route with a local run guide!

Itinerary

Day 1:

We will start off the day talking through Kit, Route planning, basic navigation and nutrition.

You will have a big day covering 25 - 30k and upto 2000m ascent - through technical mountainous terrain covering parts of the Snowdonia Massif.

We will talk about technique on the hill, weather, route finding, goal setting and we’ll share some of our own tips and hints to having your best race day.

Day 2

Another tough mountain day of around 20 - 25k and 1500m - we will start the day steadily to let your legs wake up before bagging some of our favourite summits and their accompanying views.

Mandatory Kit

A kit list will be sent out prior to the event and some suggested additional items which we think will be a game changer to your experience.

What’s included?

Two days guided coaching with a fully insured, qualified Mountain Leader, UKA Coach, DBS checked and REC qualified outdoor first aid. Maximum ratio 6:1, transport links to and from start and end points will be arranged either by taxi, personal vehicals or public transport where required.

Hopefully you are aware of the risks which come with mountain running. However, we will send out a full waiver and disclaimer on booking which must be completed by the attendee. Only open for aged 18+

In the event of adverse weather conditions there may be a requirement to amend the itinerary - every effort will be made to discuss this ahead of the event.
