Intro to Mountain Running

This coached running day in Eryri is aimed at individuals who have a reasonable level of running fitness and are looking to get more comfortable on technical and mountainous terrain. The day will cover elements of:

  • Mountain safety
  • Route Planning
  • Navigation tools and how to use them
  • Emergency procedures
  • Skills such as ascending, descending efficiently
  • Running with poles
  • Nutrition

What to expect
Full day of coached running and skills training under the instruction of a professional and experienced runner. Your guide will hold qualifications from Mountain Training and UK Athletics as well as fully insured and hold a current outdoor first aid qualification. Price £60pp - 15% discount available for group bookings and existing customers

To participate you should be able to comfortably run 10k non stop on flat terrain but don't worry, there will plenty of breaks to learn from your coach and take lots of pictures of our beautiful landscape to show your friends.

To make sure you get the most out of our coached running days we keep the group size to a maximum of 6 people.
